Eat This Book by Tyler Florence

How to Break an Egg, ed by Fine Cooking Magazine
Serves One by Toni Lydecker

We quickly flipped through them on the subway on the way home. At first glance The Greens Cookbook recipes look fresh and flavorful, Barefoot Contessa Parties! contains good ideas for get togethers and Serves One - with recipes specifically written for one serving - looks very useful and tasty! Thanks P and ZZ!

The Greens Cookbook has the recipes for the two best soups in the world. Bar none. They are: Parship soup with curry spices, and Fennel and celeriac soup. I have made each at least two dozen times---and always have one or the other for Thanksgiving. Ask David---the soup is the only part of Thanksgiving he likes!
Pretty much anything by Deborah Madison is going to be a hit! I think it's in her "The Savory Way" that there is an amazing tapenade recipe, that I have now memorized, it is so delicious. I make it from time to time and eat it with goat cheese and bread. And "Fields of Greens" is also a wonderful Greens Restaurant-connected book. It is my favorite cookbook in my collection. I bet the Ina Garten book is awesome! I miss her show on the Food Channel, now that I have not cable. I make a vegetable lentil soup that I got from Food and Wine via Bobbi Brown via Ina Garten. Enjoy your fabulous cookbooks!
Thanks everyone! I can't wait for some cooler weather to start really cooking again - recently it's been salad or cereal for dinner.
