Why I'm Scared of Aliens
I just realized that they're the culprit to my many nights laying awake in bed with the covers over my head. Thanks, Sleestaks.
But on a food note, i spent most of yesterday at the CAPA Asian American Heritage Festival in Union Square. Not only were Morgan Freeman and Jet Li there, but the giant plate of homemade Indian food from YSS was delicious! For $7 i got an overflowing plate of rice, chickpeas, mutar paneer (peas and fresh cheese), raita (yogurt with cucumbers that Anmol made!) and 2 samosas. Q got another plate of food that contained green beans with sesame seeds and chiles (delicious) and the various drinks we all purchased included Thai iced tea and boba tea. It's always fun reconnecting with community members, but scary realizing how small the world is.
